Art Basel is an internationally-renowned art fair connecting artists and galleries across the world each year for a celebration of life, culture and colour. With a week-long celebration on the horizon, 82,000 art lovers in attendance and 24 site-specific installations to install, 2023 marked Art Basel’s largest – and most challenging – edition to date. Our long-standing client, UBS, was at the forefront of the fair as Global Lead Partner.
We created a branding strategy that took influence from the fair’s host city – weaving elements of Basel’s own culture into out-of-home assets and creating city dressings that mirrored and complemented its unique heritage. Our team developed invitations for UBS’s clients, inviting them to experience the joy of art and emphasising UBS’s commitment to celebrating creativity and supporting dialogues on identity and representation. The result was an immersive environment that captured the essence of Basel while exemplifying UBS’s belief in the power of art in creating a better world while leaving a lasting impression on its visitors.
