Customer journeys

Segments that mean something commercially.

Most segmentation describes people. Useful segmentation predicts behaviour, and tells you what to do about it.

We build segments from what customers do rather than who they are, then give each one a plan: what it receives, how often, and what result it is supposed to produce.

From the data you already hold

Purchase recency, frequency and value, category affinity, channel, first product bought and time to second order. These signals are in your platform today and describe intent better than an age bracket does.

Segments are kept few enough to act on. A dozen theoretical audiences that nobody has time to serve is worse than four that get real attention.

A plan per stage, not per campaign

New, active, lapsing and lapsed customers each need a different conversation, and the plan says which. Content, cadence and offer follow the stage rather than the marketing calendar.

The model is reviewed as behaviour shifts, so the segmentation stays a working tool rather than a slide from last year.
