Business Development Manager

We are looking for a talented go-getter who will manage business accounts at the intersection of innovation and design. You will be the initial point of contact for our prospects; building relationships; educating the market, and playing a crucial role in expanding our client base.

As new business development manager you will develop and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders at all levels of the key account. You will anticipate our client’s needs and translate these into opportunities for DDA. You will inspire our customers with the endless possibilities of how we can growth their business. You will  bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients. Transforming leads into meaningful and sustainable long-term customers.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Grow accounts and the agency’s impact on their business
  • Become a valued advisor to our clients
  • Oversee all activity within the account and their business
  • See and find opportunities in the relationship or the provided service
  • Sell recommendations back to our clients that are in their best interest
  • Read social signals and proactively intervene before catastrophe strikes
  • You feel comfortable being in the middle and managing expectations on both ends
  • Voice customer needs to agency teams and vice versa
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience within the creative industry, preferably an agency
  • Think entrepreneurially and have the ambition to achieve set goals
  • You understand the needs of customers and appreciate the advisory exchange
  • You don't just want to sell, you want to understand and offer solutions
  • Interested in the latest trends and digital changes and keep an eye on the industry
  • Solution-oriented and outcome driven
  • You are an absolute team player
  • Always keep your composure and an overview even in stressful situations
  • You are talented in communications and are able to present fluently in Dutch and English
  • Value ​​constructive feedback to help you grow beyond yourself
